This page answers the practical questions: opening hours, documents, the handover, getting here without a car, what fits in which car, returns and late returns. One rule covers everything else: Soundcall does not bring equipment to you. If you cannot come in person, a courier, Uber or Bolt that you book and pay for can do the trip both ways.

Everything is sorted online; all that is left is the trip to the depot.
After payment, an email arrives automatically with the pickup time slots open on your booking day. Click the time that suits you, we confirm, and the depot is at 18 rue des Tennerolles, 92210 Saint-Cloud. The same email also asks for your return time.
The rental agreement is signed online. Your valid ID document, national identity card or passport, front and back, is uploaded on the website before pickup day: without it, we cannot hand over the equipment. The link for the card hold (pre-authorisation) is emailed to you 2 days before pickup (or appears as the last step of your booking if pickup is within the next 3 days).
Bring your ID document, the same one you uploaded, and your booking reference: the confirmation email is enough. Make sure you can carry what you have booked; the table further down gives you an idea of sizes and weights.
The equipment leaves fully checked, so you can leave with peace of mind.
Every item is tested, photographed and filmed within the 24 hours before pickup, then checked with you at the handover: speakers and controller switched on, batteries charged, cables and stands counted. You are welcome to take your own photos, and you have 30 minutes after collection to report any issue in writing, by email or text message.
Cables, speaker stands and charged batteries come at no extra cost, along with an online user guide for each item. A Soundboks pairs over Bluetooth in under a minute, and a pack is set up in a few minutes.

The nearest stop and the walking route are given in your confirmation email (depot at 18 rue des Tennerolles, 92210 Saint-Cloud). A Soundboks Mix (9.7 kg) can be carried by hand; a Soundboks 4 (17.2 kg) goes on your back with the Backpack (€10 for 24 h), designed for the metro, the RER and cycling. For anything larger, plan on a car, a taxi or a courier.

Soundcall does not bring equipment to you, but everything is set up so it can travel without you.
You book a courier, an Uber or a Bolt for the outward and return trips, and you pay for it. We get the equipment ready for the agreed time; while it is on the road, it remains your responsibility (article 11 of the rental agreement).
The equipment comes back at the time slot chosen in the return time email. Without an agreed time, return is before 1 pm, and on Saturdays between 10 am and 11 am, because the equipment often goes out again on another rental from noon. Saturday to Monday is billed as 24 h; Friday to Monday is the 48 h rate.

A Soundboks Mix (9.7 kg) can be carried by hand, a Soundboks 4 (17.2 kg) fits in the boot of a small car, an RCF ART 932-A (18.8 kg) in a compact car, an EVOX J9 column (28.3 kg in its bag) in a saloon or an estate. The XDJ-XZ controller lies flat in any car. An RCF SUB 905 subwoofer (29 kg) fits in the boot of a standard car and takes two people to carry; for a full pack with two subwoofers, plan on an estate or a small van.

Article 2 of the rental agreement applies: any return after the agreed deadline counts as a late return. Up to 15 minutes late: no charge. From 15 minutes to 1 hour: a flat fee of €20. From 1 hour to 3 hours: half a day's rental, with a minimum of €40. Over 3 hours, or a return on another day: one full day's rental for each day or part day of delay. If the delay stops us serving the next customer: in addition, the amount refunded or paid in compensation to that customer, with proof. These amounts are taken from the card hold. Let us know on +33 6 23 65 17 78 as soon as possible: only a different time confirmed by Soundcall replaces the agreed time slot.
